Over the past year, Metro NY Amputee Soccer has been on a mission: to create a space where young athletes can grow, compete, and thrive—regardless of ability. What started as a program designed specifically for children with limb differences or amputations has now expanded into something even greater: a truly inclusive soccer experience where kids of all abilities can come together through the love of the game.
The Youth Amputee Soccer Program launched a year ago with the goal of providing children with limb differences an opportunity to play, develop skills, and experience the joy of soccer in a supportive environment. But as the program grew, so did its impact. Today, the program welcomes all children, fostering a space where diversity is celebrated and barriers are broken down.
Soccer has always been more than just a game—it’s a universal language that unites people across backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. The Metro NY Amputee Soccer program is proving that this sport has no limits. By bringing together children with and without disabilities, the program not only builds athletic skills but also fosters friendships, confidence, and a strong sense of community.
The next Youth Amputee Soccer Clinic will take place on April 26th at Sportime Kings Park, NYC. If you know a child who would love to be part of this inspiring and inclusive soccer movement, don’t miss out! Email ASAAB@Usampsoccer.org to register and be part of something truly special.
Join us in kicking down barriers and proving that soccer is for everyone. See you on the field!
