The second annual U.S. Amputee Soccer Cup took place this past weekend at BB&N Franke Field in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Thanks to Shady Hill School for providing a venue for the festivities. This year we expanded the tournament to having five teams competing: New England Revolution, Metro NY Amputee Soccer, Chicago Amputee Soccer Club, Miami Amputee Soccer Club, and the Colorado Rapids Amputee Soccer Team.

In an exciting turn, the Miami Amputee Soccer Club clinched the championship in their first-ever appearance! Last year's champions, the New England Revolution, finished in second place, followed by Metro NY in third, Colorado Rapids in fourth, and Chicago in fifth. The, "Golden Glove," award went to Corey Laycock. The, "Golden Boot," and, "Best All Around," awards went to Redondo Richard.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our lead sponsors, Major League Soccer & the New England Revolution , for their continuous support. Additionally, a big shout-out to our generous donors, including: Hanger Clinic, Ortho Pediatrics Specialty Bracing, Suffolk OTB & Jake's 58 Casino Hotel, for making this event possible. Thanks to Shady Hills Schools for the usage of their field for the tournament.

This year at the U.S. Amputee Soccer Cup 2024, we successfully hosted three youth clinics. The American Amputee Soccer Association is deeply committed to inspiring young athletes to pursue their dreams both on and off the field. These clinics play a crucial role in encouraging the next generation to engage in adaptive sports, build confidence, and develop a strong sense of community within the amputee soccer world. Thanks to our partners for the clinics, the New England Amputee Soccer Association and the United Adaptive Soccer Association. This wouldn't have been possible with out help from Adriana Saab, Danielle Potemri, and Joslynn Bigelow.
