Our Story:

The genesis of the U.S. Women's Amputee Soccer Team emerged from a collective dream that transformed into a powerful reality. In 2023, a group of passionate women with limb differences came together with a singular goal: to establish a national team and pave the way for amputee soccer on the world stage. With fervent dedication and countless hours of training, the team emerged, marked by resilience and a shared commitment to excel.The inaugural match against Poland symbolized the culmination of years of dedication and hard work, laying the foundation for a promising journey towards the first-ever Women's Amputee Soccer World Cup.

The mission of the US Women's Amputee Soccer Team is to proudly represent our nation with determination, skill, and unity as we embark on the journey to compete in the inaugural Women's Amputee Soccer World Cup. Committed to empowering women with limb differences, we strive to showcase the beauty of diversity in sport while inspiring individuals worldwide. Our mission extends beyond the field, as we aspire to create a lasting legacy that promotes equality, acceptance, and the limitless potential within every athlete. Together, we embark on this historic journey, embracing the opportunity to redefine what is possible and leaving an indelible mark on the global stage.

The World Amputee Football Federation will host the inaugural Women's Amputee Soccer World Cup from November 2nd to 11th, 2024, in Barranquilla, Colombia.
